Everest - Bilateral Cruciate Ligament Tears and Meniscal Tear

Description: Everest a now 6yr SF pocket pit, had a rough start to her life. She lost her right front leg, 2 toes on her left front foot and her tail during the first year of her life, most of which happening at 12 weeks old. During her amputation surgery she clinically died, but luckily CPR was successful, and she made it though, and since then has been the perfect addition to my life. She has become so bonded with me that if I get stressed out or upset, she can tell even in a different room. A few years ago, I noticed her limping on her right hind leg. After seeing Dr. Christiansen, I got the unfortunate news that both her cruciate ligaments were torn to some degree, and a likely meniscal tear in one of them. Dr Christiansen discussed options, but unfortunately, she was not a good surgical candidate. I thought I was going to lose her, but we wound up doing stem cell therapy on both knees, along with passive range of motion and physical therapy. The difference I saw in her after the stem cell therapy was amazing. Her limping went away, she got the zoomies again, she was herself again. That was a couple years ago, and she's still there by my side every day, happy as ever. I plan to continue treating her with stem cells as long as I can. Comments: It was a night and day difference. Before the stem cell therapy, she was having trouble walking and standing for any period of time. I was basically having to carry her everywhere. Since the stem cell therapy, not only is she able to walk again, she also has her zoomies again. I can't thank everyone at VetStem enough for this being an option for her. It saved her life. I will forever be grateful more than I can express. Everest is my heart and soul, I don't know what I would do without VetStem.
