Opus had moderate arthritis and hip dysplasia, which started to manifest when he was 6. He'd been doing well on Adequan and the occasional Rimadyl, and started to get a little worse when he was a little over 8. My vet and I had been discussing Stem Cell Therapy all along, and decided to wait until the medications started to lose a little of their effectiveness. Although we are continuing the Adequan, we were able to discontinue the Rimadyl, and Opus runs around the yard as if he were a 3 year-old.
