Horse Success Stories
Joe Kalt & Hick from Tennessee
Last spring and summer we did VetStem cell treatments on my cutting horse, Hick from Tennessee. Hick is a 9-year-old quarter horse gelding who had an injury to his suspensory that was not otherwise healing after a couple of years of trying various approaches. After the stem cell treatments, he was on stall rest for several months. In November, Hick appeared to be sound and we started him back to light work - first walking for a month, trotting for a month, and then light loping for a month. This spring we put him back in training and he has remained sound. I started competing on him last week and he seems as sound as ever. So, thus far, it looks like this is very much a success story for the treatment.
