Vet-Stem, Inc. has partnered with After the Finish Line to provide stem cell therapy to rehabilitating ex-racehorses, encouraging recovery, and helping to increase the likelihood of adoption and successful retraining. Dr. Bob Harman has rescued several ex-racehorses and Thoroughbreds since his founding of Vet-Stem, Inc., and has successfully treated injury with stem cell therapy, retrained, and re-homed them into a second professional career.  Dr. Harman is very passionate about the care of his, and others’ animals, and believes they deserve the best care possible.

Dr. Harman reflects on his rescue of Loose Bikini, “She did everything we asked of her during her treatment and rehabilitation but her heart was not in racing so she has happily transitioned off the track into a second career.”
